Navarre Raiders take to beach for preseason pep rally

The parking lot south of Andy D’s Beachside Restaurant and Dock Bar was filled to the brim, not by cars but by people, Thursday, Aug. 14.

Residents from throughout the Navarre community came out to support Navarre High School athletics, namely the football team ahead of their matchup with Pensacola High School Friday, Aug. 15.

During the community pep rally, which is in its third year, the Raiders football team and coaches were introduced, the band played, the cheerleaders and dance team performed and vendors sold Raider fan merchandise and sweet treats from Jeremiah’s Italian Ice.

The Navarre Raiders football team is hoping for a better season this year than last. Last year, the squad turned in a 3-7 record.
