Navarre NJROTC program beneficial but not mandatory

There appears to be a growing trend of students being forced into JROTC programs at high schools across the country. Data collected from more than 200 public records, according to The New York Times, shows that dozens of schools have made the program mandatory.
Many cadets go into the military out of the NJROTC program but it isn’t a requirement.
