For about two years, Mariah Whitworth was in an abusive relationship.
Hurt, scared and feeling alone, she eventually found her way out with love and support from family, friends and Shelter House, a nonprofit organization that provides resources and shelter to victims of domestic violence. Now, she is working to help women who are in the same situation.
