Navarre First Assembly holds annual Day of Hope to help area families

Aug. 2 marked the 2025 edition of ‘Day of Hope,’ an annual community outreach event for Navarre First Assembly of God.

During Day of Hope, Navarre area families received free backpacks, school supplies, children’s haircuts, lunch and groceries. Pastor Jon Skipper said the long-standing tradition of giving to those in need comes from Jesus Christ himself.

Members of Navarre First Assembly of God work together to move and organize boxes of items such as paper towels and sports drinks. These items, along with others, were given out to those in need Saturday, Aug. 2.
