The Navarre Beach Pier will close at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, and remain closed on Thursday, Sept. 26, due to expected hazardous weather conditions from Hurricane Helene.
A press release from Santa Rosa County noted that the US National Weather Service Mobile Office is forecasting marine and coastal impacts, including, dangerously high surf, deadly rip currents, and hazardous marine conditions (including strong winds and high waves) beginning late tonight into early Friday morning.
The pier is expected to reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday., Sept. 27
