Mormon church opens first temple in Florida Panhandle, third in state

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, popularly known as the Mormon Church, is celebrating the opening of their new temple in Tallahassee. The new 29,255 square foot Tallahassee Florida Temple is the third Temple built in the state of Florida and the first built in the Panhandle region.
Elder Neil Andersen and his wife, Kathy, share their thoughts on the opening of the new temple in Tallahassee. Andersen serves the Church as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
