More land purchases to buffer Whiting Field

The development rights or fee simple titles for nine properties near Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton will be purchased through Department of Defense and Enterprise Florida grant funding for just over $1 million. The total acreage of all nine parcels is approximately 491 acres.

Navy Operational Liaison Officer Randy Roy presented details about upcoming land purchases to buffer NAS Whiting Field at the Santa Rosa Chamber’s military community update breakfast August 28.
