| Wendy Victora Rudman

A Louisiana family traveling to the beach Friday morning narrowly missed being struck head-on by the driver traveling on the wrong side of State Road 87 over the Yellow River.

The driver, a 56-year-old Navarre man, was killed after striking a driver just behind Ken Parker and his family.

Ken and Beth Parker were on their way to the beach Friday when they narrowly avoided a head-on collision with a car that struck one right behind them. Submitted photo
