Maintaining the Force

Hurlburt Field, Fla., — As the sun sets over the flight line and most units have gone home for the night, maintenance airmen are attending roll call and issued their tools before making their way out to aircraft to begin their shift. 
An EC-130J Commando Solo III is towed to the wash rack on the flight line to be cleaned at Hurlburt Field, Fla., Dec. 15, 2015. The EC-130J is a specially modified, four-engine Hercules transport aircraft that conducts military information support operations (MISO) and civil affairs broadcasts through radio signals and military communications bands.
