Princeton, W. Va. (AP) — A dog facing a bleak feature saw sunshine Wednesday when he headed for a new foster family and a chance for a better life.
This Wednesday March 2, 2016 photo shows Coffee, a long-time resident at the Mercer County Animal Shelter in Princeton, W.Va. Coffee was given the red carpet treatment as his caretaker at the shelter, Melissa Gross, leads him down the shelter’s main hall for the last time. The shelter’s staff lined the hall to say their goodbyes as Coffee left for his new home with a foster family in Tennessee.”(Jon bolt/Bluefield Daily Telegraph via AP)
