Oscar Locklin and Elizabeth Hewey will head to a run-off in the district 2 school board race, after neither candidate reached 50% of the vote to earn a majority of the vote.

Locklin received 46% of the vote, while Hewey received 32% of the vote. Mariya Calkins was in third with 21% of the vote and will not be in the run-off.

This is a non-partisan race, meaning it requires 50% plus one vote to win. Hewey, the incumbent, is seeking her second term on the school board.
