Lifeguards on Navarre Beach are surveying the waters later into the day and farther along the beach.
A new tower installed last week gives Navarre Beach Lifeguards an opportunity to cover additional parts of the beach during the busy season. They have also started staying on duty until 6 p.m. each day.
