Legislation could postpone overtime pay law change
On Dec. 1, nearly 4 million employees will get a bit more expensive as they are no longer exempt under federal law from overtime pay for hours worked over 40 a week, and many employers are bracing for what could be a very expensive shift according to the Florida Chamber of Commerce.
