NOTICE OF CHANGE OF LAND USE
AND INTENT TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE
The Santa Rosa County Zoning Board and Board of
County Commissioners will conduct public hearings
to consider a change of land use and/or rezoning of
land areas depicted on the maps within this advertisement.
The hearings are scheduled as follows:
Zoning Board (to consider and make a recommendation
on the proposals):
Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
Board of County Commissioners (to consider
adoption of the ordinance):
Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
The Zoning Board meeting and the Board of County
Commissioners meeting will be held at the Santa
Rosa County Administrative Center in the Board
Meeting Room, 6495 Caroline Street, Milton, Florida.
At the public hearings, the Zoning Board and Board of
County Commissioners shall consider the ordinances

The proposed ordinance and map may be inspected
by the public prior to the above scheduled meetings
at the Santa Rosa County Planning Department,
6051 Old Bagdad Highway, Milton, Florida. The
agenda and backup documentation will be available
via the Meetings & Agendas Page of the County’s
website at www.santarosa.fl.gov approximately 1
week prior to each scheduled meeting. Interested
parties may appear at the meetings and be heard
with respect to this proposed ordinance. All interested
parties should take notice that if they decide to
appeal any decision made by the Santa Rosa County
Board of County Commissioners with respect to any
matter coming before said Board at said meeting, it
is their individual responsibility to insure that a record
of proceedings they are appealing exists and for
such purpose they will need to insure that a verbatim
record of the proceedings is made, which record shall
include the testimony and the evidence upon which
their appeal is to be based.
Santa Rosa County adheres to the Americans with
Disabilities Act and will make reasonable modifications
for access to this meeting upon request.

Public Notice

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Holley-Navarre Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners will hold two (2)
public workshops for the purpose of discussing, reviewing, and receiving public input
on the extraordinary circumstances necessitating the need to exceed the phase-in
limitations for fire district impact fees. To comply with the requirements of Florida
Statute §163.31801(6)(g)(2), the public workshops are dedicated to providing an
overview of the recently completed demonstrated needs study justifying an increase
in excess of those authorized under Florida Statute §163.31801(6)(b),(c), and (d)
and (e) and providing the public an opportunity to review the justification of extraordinary
circumstances necessitating the need to exceed the phase-in limitations
for fire district impact fees.
The meetings will be held on January 12, 2024 and January 19, 2024 at 5:05 p.m.
CST at the Holley Navarre Fire District Station 45, 8618 Esplanade Street, Navarre,
Florida 32566. The public hearings are open to the press and public.
The update to the Fire District’s impact fee Resolution is scheduled for consideration
by the Board of Fire Commissioners on January 22, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. CST. If
approved, the new impact fees will be effective on May 1, 2024.
Any person requiring special accommodation at these meetings because of disability
or physical impairment should contact Fire District Administrative office staff not
later than three (3) days prior to the public hearing at (850) 939-5236.

The text of the proposed policy changes may be obtained without cost from the office of the Superintendent of Schools. Adoption of these proposed policies is anticipated to
be considered at the regular School Board meeting on January 16, 2024 at 5:30 pm in the board room at 5086 Canal St, Milton FL. Pursuant to the provisions of the
Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodation to participate in this hearing is asked to advise the agency at least 48 hours in advance by
contacting the board’s secretary at (850) 983-5040. Any person substantially affected by the proposed policy(s) who wishes to challenge the validity must file a petition with
