Santa Rosa County officials have scheduled a series of town hall meetings to educate citizens about upcoming ballot referendums related to a proposed new county courthouse. Voters will decide during the Nov. 4 general election whether or not they support a 5-year one-cent sales tax increase to fund the proposed $50 million project.
Commissioner Jayer Williamson hosted a public meeting on proposed courthouse sites in July and kicked off a series of six judicial town hall meetings earlier this week.
