Our own Hansen Hasenberg recently visited Springfield, Illinois, and brought back a story for our readers on the home of Abraham Lincoln.

On the corner of S 8th and Jackson Streets in Springfield, Illinois, history comes alive.

It is the site where Abraham Lincoln spent roughly 17 years of his adult life before moving into the White House.

Abraham Lincoln lived here from 1844 to 1861, when he and his family moved to the White House.
