Home BancShares and Centennial Bank acquire Doral Bank’s panhandle operations

Centennial Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Home BancShares, Inc., with a location in Navarre, recently acquired all the deposits and substantially all the assets of Doral Bank’s Florida Panhandle operations through an alliance agreement with Banco Popular of Puerto Rico, the successful lead bidder with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) on the failed Doral Bank of San Juan.
