Holley Navarre Water System to Hold 55TH Annual Meeting

The Holley Navarre Water System Inc. (HNWS) will hold its 55TH Annual Membership Meeting and Election of Directors on January 21, 2025, in the Corporate Office, Board Room, at 8574 Turkey Bluff Road. The election will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. This year, three of the seven Directors’ terms have expired, with two directors serving 3-year terms and one serving a two-year term. These Directors are Joe Campbell, Don Linnell, and Daryl Lynchard.

Interested Candidates

All candidates applying for Board of Director positions shall present:

  • A notification of interest (application) endorsed by 25 sponsoring active members, with permission to publicize the interview question responses,
  • A short personal biography (100-word max) with permission to publicize the same, as well as
  • An authorization for a background check.

Candidate applications may be picked up at the Corporate Office, 8574 Turkey Bluff Rd, beginning August 21, 2024, and must be personally filed at the Corporate Office no later than 4:00 P.M. on September 19, 2024. There will be a “Special Open Board Meeting” on October 3, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. to approve candidates as we appreciatively accommodate the General and Presidential election schedule of the Supervisor of Elections.

Proxy and Absentee Voting

Proxy and Absentee voting is from October 28, 2024, to December 20, 2024. Proxies and absentee ballots will be available upon request by calling (850) 939-2427 ext. 237, by email to election@hnws-fl.com, or by coming in person to the Corporate Office at 8574 Turkey Bluff Rd. Any and all Proxy and Absentee Voting member or spouse requests will be requested to verify active membership with their WIPP PIN or driver’s license. The deadline to mail voter requests from HNWS is December 04, 2024.
