High school sports came to a halt one year ago this week

When Navarre’s softball team walked off the field after its game against Gulf Breeze on March 12, 2020, it had no idea it would be the last time a game would be played that season.

The COVID-19 pandemic was only supposed to shut down schools for two weeks.
