James Russell and Ed Norton – Art Carney’s character on “The Honeymooners” – worked in sewers, but that’s where the comparison ends: Ed’s best friend, Jackie Gleason’s Ralph Kramden, was an overweight bus driver; James’ best friend is his wife, Margaret, a walking, talking red-head with an infectious smile.

James Russell began his civil engineering career cleaning sewers. Now he and wife Margaret can enjoy the benefit of this pool’s plumbing at their home in Navarre.
