For years, the debate between supporters and opponents of reopening Navarre Pass has focused largely on the potential effects to the environment.
Supporters of the pass such as the Navarre Pohlmann Pass Political Action Committee contest that the pass would clean the impaired waters of Santa Rosa Sound by allowing better water flow.
