Gulf Breeze Middle looks to rename facility after longtime coach who passed in January

How do you honor someone who meant so much to so many people?

That question is at the heart of a recent request made to Santa Rosa County District Schools to rename a facility at Gulf Breeze Middle School after Mark Stringfellow, a longtime coach at the school who passed away in January.

Mark Stringfellow, a longtime Gulf Breeze Middle School physical education teacher, passed away in late January. To honor his 25 years of service at the middle school and throughout the Gulf Breeze community, GBMS plans to rename a part of campus after him.
