Grant funds ‘iffy’ for Navarre Park

Santa Rosa County in September applied for a $150,000 state grant to help fund improvements in Navarre Park, which would include development of permanent restrooms. Based on the grant application and its scoring system, the local application placed 80 out of 166 applications, which may be too far down the list to receive funding.
Santa Rosa County has applied for a state grant to make improvements in Navarre Park, which includes development of permanent restrooms to replace portable toilets now used in the park.
