Governor touts continued gains for pre-kindergarten students

Florida Gov. Rick Scott March 7 highlighted results from a 2013 study showing students who completed the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) were better prepared for kindergarten than students who didn’t complete the program or did not participate in VPK. It was the fifth consecutive year the number of VPK completers had increased.
