Geo Bee takes students around the globe

What is the state bird of Florida? What desert covers most of Egypt? Students at West Navarre Intermediate School who competed in the school’s annual Geography Bee by answering questions like these were recognized at a reception Feb. 12. Classroom winners received prizes and were introduced on the school’s morning TV show.
West Navarre Intermediate Geo Bee finalists include first place winner Logan Warren, holding trophy and second place winner Sean Phillips, holding a world atlas. Other finalists pictured include: Hunter Crowder, William Barrett, Maya Ugarte, Wyatt Bucey, Timothy Burman, Lukas George, Brody Roberson and Daniel Ricketts
