A new youth initiative titled Every Kid in a Park is aimed at getting fourth-graders and their families to visit public lands and waters throughout the 2015-16 school year.
Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Mount Rushmore National Memorial is visited by nearly three million people each year. It is one of many national parks that fourth-graders nation-wide will have access to as part of a new White House initiative.
