County commissioners are under fire for planning to spend millions to acquire property for the proposed new courthouse. Citizens are asking commissioners to reconsider their decision and use property the county already owns adjacent to Santa Rosa County Jail in East Milton.

The street adjacent to the Santa Rosa County Jail was named Judicial Boulevard in anticipation of building a future courthouse on the county property.
