District’s ‘friendliest’ VFW post gets updated flag

A Spectre is a type of AC-130 gunship that is used in the Air Force Special Operations Command, and it is also the name of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post in Mary Esther.
VFW Spectre Post 11367 recently received a new, updated flag after having used the flag from the old VFW post from Destin after that post lost its building. Seen accepting the flag and a check to pay for the flag are VFW member Bob O’Donnell (left) and Spectre Post Commander Ron Engberg.
