At the heart of the company is Tyler Olson, the outgoing and personable “front man.” If you’ve met Dirt Boyz, chances are you’ve met Tyler. He thrives on building relationships, connecting with customers, and becoming a familiar face in the community. “It’s not just about making a sale,” Tyler explains. “It’s about meeting people, building trust, and being part of the community.”
Behind the scenes is Brandon Lucht, the quiet but highly skilled construction expert. Currently finalizing his contractor’s license, Brandon brings a wealth of experience in construction management, including work on multi-million-dollar projects like apartment complexes. While he may not be the loudest voice in the room, his technical knowledge and attention to detail are critical to every project Dirt Boyz takes on.
Rounding out the trio is Ben Olsen, Tyler and Brandon’s father-in-law and the strategic mind of the operation. A former Army officer and physics teacher, Ben combines analytical thinking with business experience to guide the company’s financial planning and long-term growth. “I help with the numbers and the systems,” Ben says. “We’ve built processes that save time and keep us competitive.”
Together, they form what many customers call a “triple threat.” Each brings a unique strength—sales, construction expertise, and strategic planning—but all three share one important trait: they’re hands-on. Unlike some companies that outsource labor, the Dirt Boyz are boots-on-the-ground workers, involved in every job from start to finish.
The company’s roots are just as unique as its name. “Dirt Boyz” comes from Tyler’s time in the military as a heavy equipment operator—where “dirt boys” are known for getting the job done. That same work ethic carries into every project today.

For the first few years, the team intentionally grew at a slow pace, taking time to understand the market and refine their services. That strategy paid off—last year alone, the company more than tripled its revenue.
Currently, Dirt Boyz specializes in services like fencing, rock bed installation, and landscaping—areas where they’ve become highly competitive in both quality and price. But the future is even bigger. With Brandon’s contractor license nearly finalized, the company is preparing to expand into remodeling and more comprehensive home improvement services, including kitchens, bathrooms, and structural upgrades.
