Captain Bob Johnson from the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office shared welcome news with attendees at the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce monthly meeting Friday. “We had a 4.9 percent decrease in Part I crimes in 2013,” he said. “Explaining what crimes are included in Part I can be a little tricky but they are typically considered serious crimes.”
