Construction Career Days offers students hands-on experience

In recent years, the state of Florida has pushed for greater educational opportunities for trade and vocational training. On April 16 and 17, students from Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties were given the opportunity to go to Milton to take part in Northwest Florida Construction Career Days.
Students got the opportunity to ride in the bucket lift on bucket trucks at Construction Career Days. Multiple companies and agencies came to the event with their vehicles to show students some of the equipment they use to build and inspect infrastructure.
