Commissioners squelch move to force HBTS builder compliance

Months of effort by county staff and residents of Holley by the Sea to hold builders accountable went up in smoke Thursday night as the Board of County Commissioners moved to scrap a proposed change to the building permit process that would verify that builders were indeed following federal and state wetlands regulations.
