Children can help with spring garden

Spring officially arrived last week and that means many local residents will be taking to their backyards to start their vegetable gardens. University of Florida Residential Horticulturalist Mary Derrick said children can be part of the process from start to finish.
Family gardening is a great springtime activity and it teaches children important lessons.
