Cameras to be installed on bus stop arms to detect illegal passing

| Kaitie Kiger

When a school bus is stopped and has its stop arm extended, vehicles are not legally allowed to pass. However, school buses are passed illegally over 17 million times a year in North America.

Santa Rosa County school district is taking part in a bus camera pilot program to reduce this number and keep children safe.
