Businesses ready for tax-free shopping

Gov. Rick Scott in May signed legislation that created three sales tax holidays, and the first one coincided with the start of the Atlantic hurricane season and was designed to encourage residents to make purchase now to be prepared.
Ace Hardware in Navarre is making sure local residents know that they can purchase hurricane preparedness supplies without paying sales tax through June 8.
