Jorgenson: Milton ‘welcomes’ audit ‘for real or perceived purposes’

Milton City Manager Randy Jorgenson on Thursday said the city “welcomes an audit of our operations at any time for any real or perceived purpose.” Navarre Press learned earlier in the day that Florida Sen. Doug Broxson, R-Gulf Breeze, had asked the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee to audit the city and its utilities because of concerns about increasing costs to build a new wastewater treatment plant.
