The question of whether Brandon Aydelott, 27, will be released after spending 10 years in Florida State Hospital was not answered when Aydelott went into court Thursday, Jan. 4.
With two psychological evaluations ordered, Circuit Judge Clifton Drake rescheduled the hearing to March 26. Those psychological evaluations must be ready by the end of February. The calling of witnesses, including psychologists, is expected to take place at a later date.
Brandon Aydelott will be transferred to Apalachee Center, a mental health treatment center, once a bed becomes available. Until then, he will remain at the Florida State Hospital.
