In the first three months of 2021, Navarre Beach lifeguards have already rescued more people than they did all last year.

That number is 48 and rising.  

The high number of swimmers in trouble combined with extremely busy beaches led to a request for additional funding to double the number of lifeguards on the beach.

New 800-home Milton subdivision gets green light
