Vintage Fest brings something old, something new to Navarre Beach

The sun finally came out on Sunday for the inaugural Vintage Festival, the first car, motorcycle, boat, and surfboard show at the Navarre Beach Lifeguard Headquarters. Old-time rock and roll played on loudspeakers as visitors walked around admiring the vehicles and taking pictures. Sponsored by the Navarre Beach Fire Rescue, the Vintage Festival benefitted the junior lifeguard division at the beach. Sixty-three vehicles registered for the event.

Guards returned to Navarre Beach March 13, just in time for possible spring break crowds and warmer weather.
The Navarre Beach Safety Division is in its third year. There are 30 lifeguards on staff that range in age from 16-61 and they are employed by the Navarre Beach Fire and Rescue.
