Navarre’s softball team traveled to Cantonment to take on Tate in a Region 1-7A quarterfinal matchup last Wednesday, but the game ended in a 1-0 loss for the Raiders.

In order for the third-seeded Navarre Raiders softball team to play for the district championship, it had to win against rival Milton last Tuesday night.

Navarre’s soccer team gathered last Tuesday to recognize individual and team accomplishments from the 2018-19 season.

Navarre’s girls soccer team lost 2-1 to Leon in the regional tournament last Tuesday night in Tallahassee.

Navarre’s streak of consecutive state championships ended Friday in Panama City Beach with a seventh-place finish at the state meet.

Navarre and Niceville once again met in the district finals, squaring off with the trophy on the line Thursday night at Bennett C. Russell Stadium.

Winning a state championship in weightlifting comes down to numbers.

It was obvious from the start of the District 1-4A tournament opener which team was the top seed and which was the bottom seed.

Tension was in the air Jan. 22 at the regional meet held in Navarre. Over 200 girls competed for 10 automatic invitations to the state meet. Only the first-place winner in each of the 10 weight classes was guaranteed a spot in the state meet.

Navarre’s girls weightlifting team is sending 18 to the regional and is the champion of the district once again.
