Navarre’s volleyball team traveled to Gulf Breeze Thursday to battle rival Gulf Breeze. The Dolphins used their height advantage to spike the ball through, over and around the blocks of the Raiders and win the match in three games.

Navarre’s volleyball team returned to the court at Escambia last Tuesday. The Gators gave the Raiders a good fight, but Navarre prevailed in the end, winning its second match of the year.

Navarre’s volleyball team has been in every match it has played. The Raiders traveled to Niceville on Sep 6 to take on the Eagles, hoping the trend of playing close matches continued. However, the Eagles had other ideas. Using their height advantage and powerful net play, the Eagles dominated the match and won in three games.

Navarre’s volleyball team opened its season with an exhibition match against Pensacola last Tuesday at Milton. Although the Raiders came up short on the scoreboard, falling 25-10, 19-25 and 13-15, there was plenty to be happy about.

The Navarre Raiders softball team played the first two games of the summer league at Escambia June 19. It defeated Pine Forest 12-2, and in a much closer contest, beat Escambia by a 2-0 score.

Four Raider players, Emma Thomas, Nathalie Holbrook, Britney Silver and Morgan Marquis competed for the East in the Subway All-Star Softball Game Thursday night at the University of West Florida Softball Complex in Pensacola.
