Athletes enjoy ‘cool’ experience at Special Olympics

Navarre High had a group of athletes compete in the state Special Olympics earlier this month in Orlando.

The group was part of a 3-on-3 basketball team that played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and Angie Taylor, the ESE Chair at the high school, said the athletes had a blast.

Demetrius Benton, Ethan McCormick, Justin Lovelace, Ethan Singh and Bryce Rogers were part of a basketball team that represented Navarre at the Special Olympics in Orlando earlier this month.
