Arming teachers not in Santa Rosa County’s future, other measures to be taken

On Feb. 14, 2018, the definition of school safety, statewide and in Santa Rosa County, changed forever when Nikolas Cruz walked into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland and opened fire. Cruz used a .223 caliber AR-15 to kill 17 and wound another 17 in the attack.
