Since becoming a program in 2020, there have been ups and downs, big wins and tough losses for the Navarre Raider boys lacrosse team.
As the Raiders navigate their way through the 2023 season, they’ve carried on the momentum they built up a year ago when they nearly produced a winning season.

Raider basketball players enjoy opportunity to play in all-star game
Area basketball standouts were given one last chance to shine in a high school setting, taking part in the Pensacola Sports Association All-Star Game Friday night.
Kenzie England and Angel Rhodes both represented Navarre on the East team, which rolled to a 52-30 win over the West at Pensacola State’s Hartsell Arena.

Jayah Jones came through with the catch in the end zone, three defenders running towards her but not in nearly enough time to do anything about it.

Navarre Raiders dominate their own invitational
Garrett Bagley held his two young daughters, one in each arm, as he talked about his Navarre boys weightlifting team early Wednesday evening.
Fifteen minutes earlier, he was holding a couple of trophies, his Raiders sweeping the titles at their own invitational, winning the Olympic 58-45 over Choctaw and cruising to a 55-38 win over the Indians in traditional.

Cole Crocker had no idea he was in the midst of dealing a no-hitter until it was mentioned to him late in the action of a game against Milton March 2.

Cooke back to her old self as a softball player
Cailyn Cooke wasn’t sure what the future of her athletic career held for her coming off a girls weightlifting season that was cut short because of a back issue.
But after a delay to start her senior softball season, the Gulf Coast State commit got back on the field late last month and seems to be getting back to her usual self and in her regular position behind the plate as a standout catcher for the Navarre Raiders.

Navarre starts off new flag football season with win over Niceville
As far as debuts go, things couldn’t have gone much better for Navarre Raider flag football coach Jason Kisor.
His team was ready to roll in its season opener against Niceville Wednesday night at Bennett C. Russell Stadium, with the Raiders coming away with a 19-6 win over the Eagles, the district runner-up a year ago.

Raider boys lacrosse team confident under pressure in win over Tigers
During a timeout late in the action of a lacrosse game Tuesday night at Jim Scoggins Stadium, the score all tied up, Brady Payton, one of four captains for the Navarre Raiders, challenged the team to get back on track and close the game out.
That energy within the huddle seemed to carry over to the field as Navarre scored four goals over the final five minutes of play to secure a 12-8 road win over the Pensacola Tigers.
