Raider Game Day! Navarre hosts Tate in district opener
Reigning District 1-4S champion Navarre begins its quest for a repeat Friday when it hosts Tate in a 7:30 p.m. game Friday on Military Appreciation Night at Bennett C Russell Stadium.
The Raiders (1-2) are looking to even their record and take out the Aggies (2-1), who Navarre hasn’t lost to since the opening round of the 2015 playoffs.

Tyler Welch says job at UWF ‘feels like a dream’
Tyler Welch was at a Pensacola Blue Wahoos baseball game when the possibility of being a basketball coach at NCAA Division II University of West Florida really gained some steam.

Bailey Huston excited about another year of football at Huntingdon
Bailey Huston spent a lot of time in the weight room over the spring and summer, and on the field as well in preparation for another year of college football at NCAA Division III Huntingdon.
“I was in the weight room every day, and I stayed here over the summer to work on footwork stuff on the field,” Huston said.

Knox building off success of last season in cross-country
Moses Knox saw the finish line in sight at the Gulf Coast Stampede and ramped up his speed.

Energy flowed through the veins of Navarre’s volleyball team as the action grew more intense and the value of every point ramped up another notch against Gulf Breeze.
That was to be expected as the Raiders faced their rival in a tense and exciting rivalry match between two state-ranked teams Tuesday night, with Navarre searching for its first win over the Dolphins since 2007.

Navarre’s swim team competed at a Pentathlon in Fort Walton Beach Saturday.
