The first set of regional rankings are out for volleyball and several local teams are in the mix for a playoff spot.

Josh Wilson wanted to be back on the field two weeks ago for Navarre’s home opener but wasn’t quite in the clear from the concussion he suffered in Navarre’s week one game.


With a bye week buying him some extra time to get healthy, the senior standout was back at it Thursday night for the Raiders’ road game against Mosley.

Kaitlyn Montgomery led the Navarre Raider volleyball team in kills last season, racking up more than 300.

Samantha Class was back on the court with the Navarre Raider volleyball team Tuesday night a week after being in a tough situation.


“I was actually sick in the hospital last week. This is kind of my comeback I guess,” Class said with a smile.
