Lighthouse Private Christian Academy nearly won a state title a year ago, finishing as the state runner-up.
The Stingrays didn’t let the opportunity to win it all slip through their fingers a second consecutive year, however, beating Keswick Christian 18-16 for the crown Nov. 15.

A young and inexperienced Navarre Raider girls basketball team got its first look at live action on the court Tuesday during a preseason tournament in Pace.

Stingrays on same page and driven to succeed
Everette Alford took over as the head coach at Lighthouse Private Christian Academy in the summer of 2022, giving him little time to truly get things set up the way he wanted going into the season.
The team finished 1-8 that year, but over the last two seasons, with Alford’s fingerprints visible on the program, Lighthouse has thrived.
