Raiders Pine Forest and Tate
The Raiders scored an easy 8 – 0 win over Pine Forest on Dec. 3 at home. On Dec.6 they traveled to Tate and shut out the Aggies as well by a 5 – 0 score.

Florida State ranked No. 1 for first time since 2000
Tallahassee – Florida State was voted the No. 1 team in the FBS Sunday for the first time since Oct. 1, 2000. The Seminoles are heavily favored against Duke in the upcoming Atlantic Coast Conference championship game and are 60 minutes from a berth in the BCS title game.

Raider Swim team State Meet update
The Navarre High School Swim and Dive team traveled to the Sailfish Splash Water Park in Stuart to compete in the Florida High School Athletic Association State 3A Swim and Dive meet Nov. 15.

Lady Raiders beat the cold, Milton
The Lady Raiders traveled to Milton last Tuesday and blanked the Panthers by a 4 – 0 score. Despite near-freezing temperatures, high winds and rain, the Raiders played well, controlling the game from the first whistle.

Lady Raiders’ weightlifters demolish Fort Walton Beach
The Lady Raider lifters defeated Fort Walton Beach 80 to 7 at home on Nov. 24. After two overwhelming victories, it is obvious from where the team’s competition will come; it will come from teammates. The Raiders are loaded with talent in each weight class. Each team can only have two lifters competing in each weight class for the district championship and the state qualifying meet. Currently, some weight divisions have three or four lifters that have combined totals that are 10 pounds or less apart. The competitors are all pushing each other.
