Navarre faced the Pace Patriots for the second time this season on Monday, Dec. 8. It was the first game of the year played on the home turf at Bennett Russell Stadium.

The Raider lifters won the team championship at the Choctaw Invitational Tournament on Dec. 8 by an overwhelming margin. The Raiders captured 93 points. Their nearest competitors in the 12-team event were Pine Forest with 37 points and Niceville with 25. The Raiders also broke several meet records in their first real test this season.

Ailsa Clark, the Lady Raiders’ top golfer, isn’t slowing down just because the season is over. The high school junior won the Pensacola City Junior Championship Girls Open Division at Osceola Golf Course last weekend.

The Navarre Raiders football team entered Friday night’s Region 1 6A semifinal contest looking to avenge two straight losses to district rival Choctawhatchee High School. One of those defeats eliminated the Raiders from the 2013 playoffs. The other, a 25-15 loss, came on Oct. 17 this year.

The Lady Raiders had their second meet of the season Nov.19 at home and overwhelmed Fort Walton Beach by an 80-9 score. After two meets, the team holds every first and second place in each weight division and has racked up the maximum score in both meets.
