Two Navarre players received red cards and were ejected from the Raiders’ District 1-4A championship game Friday against top-seeded Niceville. The Eagles held on for a 2-1 win at Navarre’s Bennett C. Russell Stadium, earning their ninth straight district crown in the process.

Navarre edges Pace in thriller

Navarre High School’s boys’ basketball team eked out an overtime win against Pace and lost district tilts to Pine Forest and Tate last week before being routed by Fort Walton Beach on Monday. The Raiders will host Crestview tonight, Thursday Jan. 31, and Gulf Breeze on Friday, Feb. 1, to end the regular season. The District 1-6A tournament begins Monday at Pace.

Lady Raiders eliminated in district semi-final match

The Navarre High School girls’ soccer season ended Jan. 16 with a 1-0 loss to Pace in the semifinals of the Florida High School Athletics Association District 1-4A tournament played at the Navarre Soccer Complex and Bennett C. Russell Stadium.
