Matt Cronin is still months away from his final baseball season with the Navarre Raiders but the standout pitcher’s future in the game is very much on his mind.
MILTON, FL – Joseph Joiner of Milton, FL celebrated his 2015 NeSmith Panhandle Challenge Series Championship with a win in the season finale on Saturday night at Southern Raceway driving the Three Trade Consultants Special. The victory was Joiner’s third of the season and gave him a season total of 663 points with 13 top five finishes and 14 top ten finishes in 14 races.
Last week was a tough one for the Navarre volleyball team. The Raiders, as has been the case all year, played hard but simply couldn’t nail down a victory.
Another win is in the books for Navarre’s football team, the Raiders pouncing on Pace 42-27 Friday night in the District 2-6A opener for both teams; but the journey isn’t over.
Adversity takes its toll on a team, eroding its spirit and will to keep pushing forward, sometimes for only a game or two. Sometime the adversity has no end in sight.
Navarre’s swim team competed at the Optimist Dolphin Invitational at the University of West Florida Saturday. A total of 16 teams competed and served as preparation for the district meet there later this month.
